I played the Partner Mode first time this weekend, and i have some thoughts about that...
We played that way hoping to accelerate the game, even notice that we don't have the Alliance expansion yet, but only the basic set.
However, i felt that it accelerate the game to much, causing the characters to cause every turn a minimum amount of 15 damage (partner attached with handgun and a knife), becoming the act of reveal a infect a boring action that no more causes the panic of the original game play mode.
In addition, some combinations become horibly appelative. A player who had played with Wesker + Sheva acquired very early too rifles and activate all the abilities, causing he to explore two times every turn with a damage of 100 or more. When he reach this situation, the game was considered over, even without the Uroboros death. xD
Even in my game I was in a really unfair situation, with a gatling guna in the early game. The big question is: may i attach the Gatling on my partner, causing me to potentialy use this every turn???
From now on I will ask what kind of game I look for: a slow but dynamic game, or a game repetitive and without any tension...
What do you think about it? Mainly you that have played another expansions...
