Claires abilities say that all you ammo gets a + 10 ammo and +10 gold of you get the needed decorations.

Does each individual card get + 10 or does the total amount get + 10.

Lets day I have a had of 5 zero cost ammo cards, which would mean I have 50 ammo and 50 gold. With this ability, do I now have 60 ammo and 60 gold(total amount + 10) or do I have 100 ammo and 100 gold? (each card + 10)

The ability reads, "during your turn, choose a player. That player gets +1 explore and must explore at least once in their turn." How does forcing a player to explore work? What if they have no weapons? What if they have a weapon but not enough ammo unless they play an action, do they have to play the action to get ammo to explore? What if they have two actions with only one gives ammo (which they need to load a weapon) and the other doesn't give ammo or another action? Do they have to play the ammo one?

1) How the Time Bonus cards in Mercenaries mode is works? They add additional turns to all teams?
2) in my turn i can use 5 differenr motions, one of them is "Playng item/ammunition". Can i play multiple items or just one?

What the text on card exactly means?
1) this card gives +10 damage to ALL my weapons (all my output damage+10 dmg)
or
2) this card gives +10 damage to EACH weapon ( +50 for 5 knifes in play for example)?

Hi There,
I just got the Base set and one expansion today. I understand the rules but I have one question which may be stupid. Can you play weapons and ammo cards even if you aren't going to explore just so that you can buy something with their gold? And can you lay excess ammo even if you don't have weapons played just to again use the gold to buy things?

Hey, so my friend and I were playing and we both bought tear gas fairly early on. I trashed my handgun, so I only had two knives in my inventory. I wound up doing 80 damage. My friend did 90 from his next turn and killed the boss and it was around our 10th explore. It's too easy to stock up your inventory with actions/ gold, a few weapons, and as many tear gas as you can get. Then when the tear gas comes around, you usually do a ton of damage or reshuffle your inventory next turn and start the cycle over immediately.
It was way too op, do you have any ideas for house rules to tone this card down? I'm gonna try to lower the bonus damage from 10 to 5 for each card discarded. +40 damage for 8 cards seems a lot more reasonable and yet still a respectable bonus.

Can you buy stuff for you teammates? The reason I ask is because in the special forces scenario in the base set it says: "If you find yourself running low on Health, you can always have one of your teammates buy you a first aid spray." This implies that you can buy things for your teammates.

Hi, I have all the expansions and have played the game for quite sometime. I really enjoy it,but there are just so many cards. Does anyone have a deck list that optimizes the use of all the decks. I've mixed and matched, but am opened to new ideas. Please and thanks for any and all help.

If you have multiple copies in hand can they all be played during someones turn?
I was under the impression that the "can" wording was only once per turn for character abilities.

Just want to make sure that I am playing the game right.

Q1. There are certain cards that provide extra explore in the game. However, I would like to know how it is possible to use our Weapon. From the rulebook,it is said that you can only use a Weapon once but is it once per exploration or once per turn.

Q2. In addition, if I have an additional explore, can any surplus value of my Ammo card be carried forward for the subsequent exploration. For example, I have an Ammo card of 30 and my weapon that i used for my first exploration only require 10 Ammo to deal a 10 damage to destroy a monster, can I still use the remaining 20 Ammo for my second exploration?

I have all 5 RE deck building sets, so I definitely have enough cards to make it work. I'm just curious on how to actually do it. I'm assuming that I just need to borrow some of the basic resource cards from a 2nd set, as well as include a few extra piles of action cards since actions will be bought and depleted faster than usual. Does anyone have experience setting up a 5, 6 or even 7 player game?

How do you gain these items? I've recently bought the alliance add-on and it comes with a hydro and so on but you have to shuffle them into their respective weapon type piles (Hydro being a shotgun is shuffled with shotguns). The Knife has a 0 cost so can you buy something that cost nothing in hopes of getting the one special knife that is included with the set? I'm confused on that

I know the game is old (dead), but I hope I can get some answers.

1. my first question is about the infected that when you kill, you make a player skip their turn, its actually 2 questions, the first is, that when ive seen in other posts, its seems people have people discard their hands, but I have chose not to play it this way, because the rules say at the END OF YOUR TURN, you discard your hand and draw a new one, but your turn was skipped, you never had a turn, and therefore I don't think you should discard your hand due to the wording, is this correct like officially? or any evidence to the contrary? and the 2. question about this infected, technically the game isn't a last man standing game, I mean yes, if you are the last player or team left alive, you can just sit and win, but some might still continue to explore to get more points, and a bad explore could lead to everyone dying and thus no one winning, so I had a game where I played out the final 2 turns just to increase score, and I killed this infected, there isn't a MAY in the wording, it sounds like a have to skip ability, so since im the only player left to choose, do I have to choose myself?

3. sorta the same as 1. lets say the infected is used to skip someone is mercenaries mode, if its correct that they never get a turn and therefore end of turn effects don't happen to them, does their combo remain?

4. and just to clarify, in story mode, if you fight nemesis and only have 20 or less health, does he kill you before you obtain him? cause he says WHEN REVEALED, so is it reveal, then auto die to him hitting everyone for 20, thus killing you before you add him to your decorations even though you had enough to kill him? or do you get him as you die? ive always played it that you instant die and don't get him due to wording, but would be nice to get opinions or mostly clarification


sorry if the questions are weird, just trying to make sure on things, there isn't an official thing for this anymore sadly, and so its hard to know fer sure on things, thanks for any answers

I've been reading the Master FAQ and I'm left utterly confused about Rebecca's Level 1 ability.

REBECCA CHAMBERS

Level 1: When you would Trash any cards, you can move them to another Player's Discard Pile instead.

Level 2: At the beginning of your turn, you can Trash 1 card from your Discard Pile.


Ok, so the first assumption is that if you have Rebecca and you Action Shattered Memories to trash 2 cards from your Discard Pile along with the Shattered Memories card, you can move all 3 of those cards to another Player's Discard Pile.

BUT.. the Master FAQ says otherwise.

AC-003: Shattered Memories

Q: Can I play this card, and not trash anything, then trash itself from its effect?
A: Yes you can. You can even trash 1 card if you want.

Q: If I have Rebecca CH-010 at level 1, can I move both cards to another player's discard pile with Shattered Memories AC-003's effect?
A: No you cannot. Since Rebecca's effect states "you can...” it can only be used once per turn, meaning you can only move 1 card.


I honestly don't understand the logic behind the Answer. Can someone clarify this for me? I'm scratching my head here.

Hey everyone quick question I have about the Resident Evil Deck Building Game Core Game and a statement in the rule book on page 8 under Step 1. It says, "Story Mode is meant to be played with any combination of cards. You can play with as few as 10, or as many as everything."

Does anyone know to what they are referring? I know that there are the 18 resource piles and it gives you the Mansion breakdown (33 infected, 2 Token, and 3 Yellow Herbs) but I can't, for the life of me figure out that Few as 10 line.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Just start to play the original version. His ability to +5 damage for each infects he is fighting against. Does it mean he will only get +5 for first explore and +10 for second explore.

Does the 'can be used twice per turn' ability for the pistols only refer to being able to fire them twice per turn (providing you have the ammo requirement to do so) or does it also refer to any effects the pistol may have? For example the Silver Ghost pistol gives you +1 card and +1 action the turn you play it, I'm presuming I wouldn't be able to use this effect twice?
